For the umteenth time, I've cut my fingers while removing the steel cup from the "arm" of my Barista!.......the cup is as sharp as a kitchen knife....and Starbucks instructs users to hold this knife-edged cup between one's fingers while removing it.....and it is a very tight fit, requiring some tugging to remove.......Starbucks has a newer model of course, and offers no information about this "discontinued" appliance......figures.......I notified Starbuck's customer service about this hazardous problem, but have not, as yet, received any reply concerning the bloody coffeemaker....

I spoke with customer service @ Philips this morning......it is sending replacement cups......I'll see if they are less dangerous than the ones originally supplied with the "Barista".........
the 'new' cups have a smooth....cutless edge.......so...I'm fine with it....
