...The almost universal American Way.....rather than spend their Life's Savings on whatever pleasures may have ameliorated the pangs of Aging, most deliver their 20-30...or more...years of funding their 'Retirement'......on Medical Expenses and the trappings of their Funerals......Don't just send Santa a list of plastic toys that you want.....send 'him' the 'bills'......for auto-deduction from his seemingly bottomless bag of Stuff........with Inflation considered and the relative worthlessless of the Dollar......that 'first item', ICU/23Days, could now be as much as ten times that amount, since the average insured 24hr hospital stay currently costs about $11,700......IN 2023, this Statement could be a half a million bucks......with an 'addendum' of the '$60' for the aspirin tablet that may be 'administered' during the crowded 'waiting/holding room' to the Emergency Room.......stapled to the already 'over the top' Invoice/Bill.....
