Since the world tosses 650,000,000,000 plastic 'water' bottles 'out' each year, and 'I don't know how many aluminum cans', I am having some remorseful feelings about having purchased a 6-pack of aluminum-clad 'flavored water' cans that were marked down, 75% at Kroger, Thursday......thinking 'what's worse, plastic or metal'? Does it even matter, since Plasticization of every component of modern Live begins with the cradle and ends with the grave.....as corpses of 'us' who have increasingly died of plastic toxicity and other plastic-related diseases are entombed, wearing polyester clothing, our heads, embalmed with formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, methanol, and other solvents, on polyester pillows..filled with dacron fiber, in caskets...lined with monofilamental fabrics and plasticized lace trims..........The 'tipping point' was decades ago..... and the average person gives, at most, a glancing thought about this.....the same people that put our current president in the oval office and the crooks that feed on their hubristic ambitions in their cushy, lucrative jobs making the laws that perpetuate this largess of ecological indifference.........Does anyone really know what time it is? And, I'm not referring to the 'time' readout on the 5 billion disposable plastic phones that the world is clutching...... there!....my morning rant....and it's not yet 10 a.m.
