Settlers and Indians.....or Cowboys and Indians.......

 I remember the "History" that was taught in 1950's Alabama Public Schools........which served to propagandize White Supremacy and celebrate and glorify the massacre of the 'Savage Heathen Indians' by the Christian Wagon Trains and American Calvary that cleared the way for white men to confiscate Indian Lands..........What a thick veneer of Lies we were inculcated with! When I....often....found flint arrowheads in the woods around our home...even as a ten-year old.....I wasn't 'buying' the coverup.......and, all those 50's and 60's 'Cowboy and Indians" movies! The barbarian 'indians', surrounding the good interloping settlers, who, armed with rifles, would shoot the war bonnet-wears from their horses, as though it were a State Fair Duck Shoot!........I was, then, always for the "Redskin Indians" and applauded....alone.....when a 'settler' bit the arrow....
