still poor and stingy,
fur-backed hands grasping
steel and vinyl dreams
of stealth and power,
caped illusions, stolid tasks and cornered dreaming;
stoning eyes in art,
while cheating covers intent
and coarse fabrics, motives.
apes mock high aspiration,
watch car crashes
and games of War..... "hey.......you're hogging the ashtray, dude!"
