Very beautiful.......Dubiai's one-upsmanship to Vegas. Dubai uses a quarter million gallons of water a day to entertain it's decadent guests, who shell out an average of $1750/day for a single room at an average Dubai  hotel, with this ostentatious show of conspicuous consumption, tossing 22,000 gallons of water at any given moment to vaporize into the desert air. For $3500/sq ft, one can buy a high rise living space with a view of this and other excesses.....the tallest skyscraper, fastest elevator.....and the list of "biggest, tallest, fastest and wasteful" reaches formidable length.....It's all very aesthetic, regardless of considerations of it's impact on the surrounding environment......Like Ludwig of Bavaria, spending half the gross national product on gizmos for his castles and palaces and his obsession with Richard Wagner, which practically bankrupted Bavaria.....or the Pharaohs' enslavement of whole races of people to build the then-equivalent Pyramids......also in the middle of the desert! And dispensable 7500 workers {cheaply acquired "low-class workers" from Asia} toiled for slave wages, living and dying in squalor and heat to create this billion dollar amusement for the rich and famous........no thanks, I don't approve of what's beneath the skin of this spectacle.........
