One of the few things that I've inherited...that I treasured......A few years ago, I sent the ring to Paladin Jewelers, which I had utilized for many years.....to have it made a size larger........Lee Cady, the goldsmith, fled his creditors, wife and child with this beautiful ring........sic transit gloria mundi......his behavior was not only unpredictable, but strained my professional relationship with both Neiman's and Tiffany's to whom I had referred Lee.....He vanished with over 100K of my personal jewelry, and jewelry from my business and theirs, too! His estranged wife just said, "He has a drug and alcohol problem."......Oh, that makes it all right, I suppose! I have forgotten what was lost...except this ring and a silver Afgan bridle and bit....
