Hoping for a renewed interest, by Americans, in Ice skating......after all the ballroom dancing popularity this year, i logged onto ICENETWORK .....It's SEPTEMBER already, but this is all that is there!:
"There are no more figure skating events scheduled for the 2008-09 season. If we are notified of any re-broadcasts, we will list them here. The 2009-10 schedule will be released in the late summer.

well......what about the 2011 WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS? The competition began yesterday.....but, alas, no coverage on U.S. network television! Plenty of football, soccer, baseball....even barbaric wrestling and boxing!....but NO FIGURE SKATING!!....drat!!
I'm so grateful for DIRECTV's providing coverate on channel 625.....at additional cost, of course...I watched the European Championships this month!
