Project Runway Allstars and Junior have both been 'cancelled'.....as well as FACEOFF! Really dumb, Trump-worthy imbecilic Gong Show-ish Game Shows seem to be the 'thing' now.......In the on-going 'dumbing down' of American Interests.......Perhaps I should renew my lapsed subscription to Film Comment, before the mag bites the dust and is replaced by Entertainment Weekly, the 'grocery rack' magazine, or The Kardashians' World History of Cosmetic Surgery and Boob-jobbing......dumbed-down immersion replacing critical assessment.....choreographed canned laughter for this Age of Intellectual Cholera......the dearth of meaningfulness, as Orwell predicted...before I was born......Our 'Cartoon' Philistine President's favorite stuff: movie: Bloodsport; tv show....not counting...ugh!....Fox News......: "My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss": Favorite Book: he doesn't read 'books' except non-fiction 'Business' stuff.... This Fall's 'lineup' will feature more horror, more violence, more situation comedies, more Reality Show fantasies for couch potatoing, and, of course more 'News' coverage of shootings, bombings and battle plans for World Dominion.......RuPaul in a remake of Annie Get Your Water Gun would be far more delightful, wouldn't it? How about Senatorial Mud-Wrestling.....the Reality Show....
