so.....why is it that one can 'buy a pack/carton' at hundreds of thousands of locations........sanctified by the 'warning label'.....The Tobacco INDUSTRY is not very different than BIG PHARMA, after all, is it? What, if Firearms manufacturers had to have 'warning labels' stamped into the stocks of the millions of firearms sold every year......or 'warning labels' were placed on 80% of the Food Products that we consume, daily? DENIAL is the first line of human Defense Mechanisms, utilized to ignore common sense........well, if there is the 'such thing' as 'common sense'.......I was at the 'gas station', yesterday, and viewed a couple of 12 year olds, with an 'adult'...of course......purchasing a couple of cartons of Camels.......and a box of greasy, fake-chocolate-covered donuts and a couple of nitrate-filled 'hot dogs' and a container of Cheez-Whiz...."Even if the statement that cheese whiz is one molecule away from plastic is true, it is essentially meaningless.......the power of addiction trumps any Good Common Sense" And Government Oversight is trumped by the lust for $$$, anyway......as Drug and Tobacco companies load up Politicians bank accounts.......
