DETRITUS(A)

 

as I dined at Whole Foods' FOOD COURT, viewing 30 'eaters', ripping open cellophane bags of disposable plastic knives, forks and spoons, while chattering on their plastic phones.....I noted the Emory Students....snickering about my dining tools......that I can wash and reuse, as they have been utilized for a hundred years, before.......... As the students left, they tossed the detritus of their wolf-it-down lunchs.....including the plasticware, of course.....unthinkingly....into the array of trash cans by the Exit doors......headed for the Dumping Grounds.....DJT cut the EPA's Budget by a third, during his first term as National Dictator.....reflecting the indifference and insensitivity of Average Americans....that have upped their production of plastic garbage with nary a slap on their hands......

at least 50,000,000,000 pounds of plastic garbage is dumped, every year....a Case for giving some thought to the Problem, rather than just upping the Cause of The Problem....
